Back in our March newsletter we wrote to inform you about changes that were coming to Google AdWords. Today we wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that if we handle your AdWords account, all of your campaigns have successfully been upgraded to the Enhanced Campaigns! There are two main areas where this may have affected you.

The first, and most major, is in regards to mobile only campaigns. More specifically, they are no longer possible. If you were running a mobile campaign, it has now been grouped back into your main campaigns. However, there are new bidding options so that we can now bid separately for mobile users than we do for desktop or tablet users from within the same campaign. All in all, you should not see much of a change in the performance of your ads.

The other major change is an upgrade to the accuracy of the reporting features on call extensions and site links extensions. This will help us to better optimize your extensions, using anchor text that is proven to be effective in driving clicks.
